Michele Kang Increases Investment into Women’s Sport… Again

Michele Kang has launched the Kang Women’s Institute within U.S. Soccer’s Soccer Forward foundation, backed by US$25m to fund research into female specific training needs, injury recovery, pregnancy return to play and youth coaching best practices. The broader commitment reaches $55m, including a further $30m for youth sport programmes, aiming to plug the huge gap in sports science research for women.
